An exhibition dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev

“Eternal Leader” was held

The exhibition “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty” and “Eternal Leader” dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Bahruz Kangarli Exhibition Hall of the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

First, the memory of the outstanding statesman Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Ulviyya Hamzayeva, the Chairperson of the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan, Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Member of the Milli Majlis, made a speech and said that the establishment of the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan is connected with the name of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. As every year, this year, Nakhchivan artists celebrate the memory of our National Leader with great solemnity on the eve of May 10. Our artists immortalize his life and political activities with their works. Today, the comprehensive activities of the members of the Nakhchivan Artists' Union are the result of the attention and value shown to the successful continuation of the policy set by the Great Leader for artists, and the fact that artists have been awarded prizes and given honorary titles is a clear expression of this.

Then, the Director of the Heydar Aliyev Museum Ramil Orujaliyev, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Nakhchivan Asip Kaya, Presidential scholarship holder Tarlan Musayeva, and Chairman of the Writers' Union of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Asim Yadigar gave extensive information about the eternal genius of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and a tour of the exhibition was held.

For your information, the exhibition features about 50 works in oil painting, metalwork, wood burning, graphics and other styles.
