The opening event of the inclusive exhibition "My Borderless World" was held

The opening ceremony of the inclusive exhibition “My World Without Borders” consisting of handicrafts of the beneficiaries of the Nakhchivan Regional Information Center for People with Disabilities was held

The opening of the inclusive exhibition “My World Without Borders” on the occasion of “December 3 - International Day of Persons with Disabilities” was held at the Bahruz Kangarli Exhibition Hall of the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The aim of the exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and supported by the Union of Artists, is to support the integration of persons of the relevant category into society, demonstrate their creative potential and draw attention to the promotion of equal opportunities.

The event began with a minute of silence in memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our heroes who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the singing of the National Anthem.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by Farid Bagirzade, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Acting Minister, Ulviyya Hamzayeva, Chairwoman of the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Elkhan Najafov, Minister of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Ramila Seyidova, Chairwoman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Issues, as well as Nayit Allahverdiyeva, grandmother of one of the beneficiaries of the Center, Yusif Gasimli.

The speakers emphasized that the integration of socially vulnerable groups into society in our country is one of the main priorities of state policy.

A video clip prepared about the activities of the Nakhchivan Regional Information Center for the Disabled was shown as part of the event. An artistic composition was performed by the beneficiaries of the Center's music therapy department.

Later, various trainers and beneficiaries were awarded for their contributions to the activities of the Center.

At the end of the event, an exhibition of handicrafts and paintings prepared by beneficiaries in the occupational and art therapy departments was viewed. Each work on display reflects the personal story, creative skills and emotional world of its author. QR codes were placed on the paintings to allow visitors to obtain information about the works and their authors.

At the end of the event, the participants emphasized that building an inclusive society is the duty of every citizen. The exhibition carries an important social message in terms of introducing the abilities of people with limited physical abilities to the public.
